My Favorite Poem
Hear The Wind Blow
Bowed by the weight of wickedness
the land sags turning swirling
as the drunkard descend into the abyss
of peasant deeds and invidious intent
Hearken you all the dwell therein
the judgment of the God of host
Fell upon your head in the distinct
hour of the ends of the earth
A hot full wind blew
not to cleanse nor widow as decreed
behold He shall come up like clouds
and His chariots like whirlwind
His horses are swifter than eagles.
Woe to the land that plundered and laid to waste
The mighty and the lowly
The slaves and the free old drunk
Of the wine of His fury
Hail, hear the wind blow
That also bore the revelations
Of His mercy
The unfolding of His decree
Before the land yields to it's ultimate destiny
Bring my children from the east
And gather you from the west
Bring My son's from afar
And My daughters from the ends of the world
Hear the wind blow
Before the earth breaks and fire
Consumes the whole creation
The coming of salvation
On the path of the earth's triumphant
Ninety seven summers have gone
And in the far east have heard a psalm
THY WILLS BEEN DONE!
behold He shall come up like clouds
and His chariots like whirlwind
His horses are swifter than eagles.
Woe to the land that plundered and laid to waste
The mighty and the lowly
The slaves and the free old drunk
Of the wine of His fury
Hail, hear the wind blow
That also bore the revelations
Of His mercy
The unfolding of His decree
Before the land yields to it's ultimate destiny
Bring my children from the east
And gather you from the west
Bring My son's from afar
And My daughters from the ends of the world
Hear the wind blow
Before the earth breaks and fire
Consumes the whole creation
The coming of salvation
On the path of the earth's triumphant
Ninety seven summers have gone
And in the far east have heard a psalm
THY WILLS BEEN DONE!
